Creating a Listing
Relist Option
You may relist  any product on Globalfish.net that you have previously posted. Modifications to your listing, such as price or time of shipment for recurring trades, may be made with just a few clicks.
Country of Display
You may have your listing appear for all users to view and respond to, or you may choose to display it only for members in selected countries.
Product Name / Species
Make sure that the Latin species name associated with the common name is the correct one for the product that you are interested in (i.e. Atlantic Salmon – Salmo salmar). If you are interested in any species of a particular type of fish (i.e. ALL Salmon species), select the type followed by the Latin spp. (i.e. Salmon spp.). If you do not find the specific product that you are listing, contact us to have your product added to our list.
Specification / Material Number
This is the code by which you categorize the product within your company. Enter if applicable.
Harmonized System Code
The Harmonized System Classification is a standardized numerical method of classifying traded products. This identifying number is assigned to each product and used by customs officials around the world to determine the duties, taxes and regulations that apply to the product.
Country of Origin
This is the country from which the actual product originates and not the country in which your company is established.
Area of Catch
This is the name of the body of water where the product was caught or harvested.
There are 27 major international fishing areas that have been established by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. They are identified by their names and by two-digit codes.

Product Details / Specifications
From each of the following sections, select the attributes that accurately describe the product:

Size / Count
Enter the total quantity and select the appropriate weight unit from the drop down box. Depending on the sizing of your product, select one of the three sizing options:
  • Ocean Run / Unsized
  • Single size (for example: 2 pounds)
  • Size Range (for example: From 2 to 3 pounds)
The format for entering numbers is: XXXX.xx (no commas between thousands, and a period for the decimal place).
Packaging Details
Enter the Packaging Details. (for example: 12 pieces of 2 pounds per carton).
Add Another Lot
To list more than one lot consisting of different quantities, size/count, packaging style or details, click Add Another Lot.
Price/Starting Price
The price/starting price is set by the Seller in a trade or auction. It is the price at which bidding or negotiations will begin. Select the currency from the drop down box. Enter the amount in the text box. The proper format for entering the price is: XXXX.xx (no commas between thousands, and a period for the decimal place). The price must reflect the same weight unit that was used for the quantity (i.e. If you have indicated that you are selling 50,000 pounds of a product, the price must be entered on a per pound basis).
Inco Terms
Complete information concerning Inco Terms 2000 can be ordered from The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
  • EXW - Ex-Work: named place where shipment is available to the Buyer, not loaded. The Seller will not contract for any transportation
  • FCA - Free Carrier: unloaded at the Seller''s dock OR a named place where shipment is available to the international carrier or agent, not loaded. This term can be used for any mode of transport.
  • FAS - Free Alongside Ship: named ocean port of shipment. This term is for ocean shipments that are NOT containerized.
  • FOB - Free On Board Vessel: named ocean port of shipment. This term is used for ocean shipments only where it is important that the goods pass the ship''s rail.
  • CFR - Cost and Freight: Named ocean port of destination. This term is used for ocean shipments that are not containerized.
  • CIF - Cost, Insurance and Freight: named ocean port of destination. This term is used for ocean shipments that are not containerized.
  • CPT – Carriage Paid To: named place or port of destination. This term is used for air or ocean containerized and roll-on roll-off shipments.
  • CIP - Carriage and Insurance Paid To: named place or port of destination. This term is used for air or ocean containerized and roll-on roll-off shipments.
  • DAF - Delivered At Frontier: named place of destination, by land, not unloaded. This term is used for any mode of transportation but must be delivered by land.
  • DES - Delivered Ex-Ship: named port of destination, not unloaded. This term is used for ocean shipments only.
  • DEQ - Delivered Ex-Quay: named port of destination, unloaded, not cleared. This term is used for ocean shipments only.
  • DDU - Delivered Duty Unpaid: named place of destination, not unloaded, not cleared. This term is used for any mode of transportation.
  • DDP - Delivered Duty Paid: named place of destination, not unloaded, cleared. This term is used for any mode of transportation.

Photos
Photographs may be uploaded in the following formats: gif, .jpg, .psd, .tif, png.
To avoid any misrepresentation, Globalfish.net recommends that you choose only photographs that represent the actual product being offered; do not insert generic pictures! To present your product or company facilities properly, select good quality photographs. For the best results, use a size / resolution of 2400 x 1220.
Additional Conditions/Information
All entries made in this text box are archived during negotiations to permit complete retrieval of any communication between Buyer and Seller.
