• set up your own product profile and select the criteria you want your listings to be matched with;
  
• enter your product profiles which are automatically converted to either Offers to Sell or Requests for Offers (depending on your status as a Seller or a Buyer) and subsequently posted on the site;
  
• receive daily email alerts when a product matching your search criteria is posted online;
• communicate directly with your trading partners by using a unique “click-to-call” integrated telephone-system (not available in all regions);
• send and receive messages, pictures and other documents;
• negotiate simultaneously with multiple trading partners on-line, down to the finest details;
• post forward and reverse auctions, including auctions requiring pre-qualifications and escrow services;
• re-list recurring offers/request for offers with just a few clicks;
• track ongoing negotiations and auctions;
• trace your product through all stages of the supply chain to its origin, in line with emerging consumer and government traceability requirements;
• get real-time market information for the type of fish and seafood products sold on Globalfish.net (available March 2010).

Globalfish.net provides a community based feedback and evaluation system where you may view a member's feedback score and user comments and leave feedback for others.

You may want to use the Trading or Auction Center with Buyers or Sellers and countries of your choosing. With Globalfish.net you can invite your regular trading partners with the added benefit of having access to other Globalfish.net members at anytime.

All the listings that you have created or responded to are displayed on your personalized Watch List page. Your Watch List also displays the following additional information:

• the number of companies in the Globalfish.net database, which buy or sell the same products as you do;
• any invitations you may receive to participate in a Private Trade or Auction;
• reminders to submit documents pertaining to a trade or an auction you are involved in.

With Globalfish.net, you will…

There are no membership fee, no listing fees and no transaction fees for Buyers! Transaction fees apply to the Seller only, once a confirmation/transaction record has been issued:

• Trades are billed at 1.0% of their transaction value
• Auctions are billed at 2.0% of their transaction value

(Note: Special conditions apply to pre-qualifying forward auctions requiring escrow services)

Transaction fees are due and payable upon Confirmation of Sale and may be made via PAYPAL, Credit Card (American Express, Visa, Mastercard or Discovery Card) or are charged to your Corporate Account (for qualified members). In the event of "force majeure" or "Act of God" any transaction commissions received by Globalfish.net shall be reimbursed to the seller. VoIP click-to-call services are available subject to a monthly fee of USD 12.95, not including airtime.
